23.01.2022 Something I've been pondering on the last week few weeks...In your career it's not about regretting "wrong" decisions, or even been overly focused on the "perfect" decisions. Its more about making WISE CHOICES. Considering all the facts at hand, what you value, what you're not willing to compromise on (i.e. boundaries!), then choosing a path for you from that place. Can you relate? Have you regretted any of the career choices you've made so far?

23.01.2022 I’ve finished my resume, now what? You submit your resume for one job and wait. You don’t apply for another role as you really want this one. And it would be totally bad karma if you applied for more than your ultimate job You submit your resume for a few jobs and you wait for a response. Sometimes you’ll wait for weeks just wondering "did they even get my resume you ask?... You apply for every single job you see, even if it’s different jobs within the same company the more the better right? An awesome resume is your first step but blindly submitting it online is not the only way or the smartest use of your time. Using online recruitment platforms such as SEEK, CareerOne, Jora & LinkedIn are great when you start using their extra features (which most people don’t use!). 21.01.2022 Feel like your batteries are drained after an interview? . Attending interviews is mentally challenging and can drain the energy resource bank. Especially if you have more than one in a week. Add to that the stress of a video interview (more and more common during COVID). . One of the best ways to prepare and recover, I've found, is to not cram in too much that day (where possible). Schedule your interview at time that allows you to eat breakfast or lunch first (empty sto...mach and extra coffee not so good!), and give yourself a break for an hour or so after i.e. not having to rush back to the office (if you can). . It's also good to reflect and learn from your experience, but I wouldn't recommend over analysing it, or you'll end up in a mental loop of "could have" or "should have". . Also, ask questions to be clear about the timeframe they'll reply or what the next steps are. 01.01.2022 A quick intro for those who haven't yet met me or are new to my socials. Until my mid to mid thirties, I had no idea what I wanted from my career. I slammed head first into every career roadblock and was so indecisive it look me 15 years to move into something I really loved. Throughout my journey I always struggled with imposter syndrome and limiting beliefs. ... Luckily, through trial and error, working alongside amazing leaders and giving myself permission to do something for me, I was able to crack the code on all this "career stuff" and finally break free of what was holding me back.
