It’s my favourite non-alcoholic shrub soda - Watermelon and Basil - made in a big fish bowl glass for a complex yet fun mocktail- hello holidays! 09.01.2022 Love the feeling of holding an Aperol spritz - sunny and bright and carefree... This shrub spritz has that same feeling and a surprisingly similar taste I used: a glass full of ice (clearly I had already drunk half when I took this photo) 30ml mandarin and pine shrub 15ml Cointreau ... 90ml prosecco 40ml soda water garnish with a wedge of fresh orange optional 10 drops of our aromatic bitters - this really takes it next level and if you love the bitterness of an Aperol spritz then this is for you - if you want something a little lighter, the pine flavour in the shrub already brings enough aromatic complexity. happy weekend folks x katrina See more

06.01.2022 Last Monday I got an email from Donna Hay! The donna hay! I did a quick spam check to make sure the email addressed Dear Pyewackets was legit before excitedly replying Dear Donna... I have always loved the bold colourful food and simple impressive recipes of Donna Hay magazine and cookbooks. I’m so excited that the magazine is back! Digitally now so you can get it instantly online I’ve just spread read the whole thing and it’s full of festive feasts and cocktail recipes (and incredible photography of course). She knows all about good food and we are so chuffed to be mentioned.
