06.01.2022 JobMaker07/10/2020-06/10/2022 In the 2020-2021 Federal Budget, the government has announced the introduction of the JobMaker Hiring Credit. This scheme is an incentive for businesses to employ additional young job seekers. Those eligible employees should satisfy the following: Aged 16-35 when employment started between 07/10/2020 and 06/10/2021 and minimum 20 working hours weekly Must have received one of the JobSeeker, Parenting or Youth Allowance (except for full-...time student and a new apprentice) payment for at least 28 consecutive days in 84 days prior to the employment None any other employer applying for JobMaker Not fall in any ineligible employee category Eligible employers can register with ATO and make a claim from 01/02/2021 for additional employees they hire before 06/10/2021.
