25.01.2022 This week, the Handley children have participated in a Walk-a-thon around the Pre-school grounds. On average, each child walked approximately 10 laps of the Pre-school, which equals 2,000+ steps or 1.5kilometers. A pretty impressive effort for little people with little legs This photo is of us all enjoying an ice block at the end...phew! EXHAUSTED SO much fun. xxx

25.01.2022 To all my Handley Preschool peeps, This Sunday I have committed to enter the water at Palm Beach with 2000 or so people. Together we will swim to Whale Beach. Amongst the competitors, there will be a sea of teammates who will be clad in black and orange Cantoo branded swimmers. I will stand amongst them for the fourth time. I joined Cantoo and committed to 12 weeks of training. I am raising money so Cantoo can fund cancer research. I am there for more than the sun, salt, sea ...and swim. I am committed to the fight. The fight against cancer. Our summer season so far has been devastating for many. Drought, flood, fire, smoke and climate... all the things that make Australia beautiful have conspired to make it dangerous. But cancer can be just as devastating. And cancer is so insidious. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means potentially that someone we love may have to battle cancer, and that's a statistic that needs to change. If you have donated to me in previous years, I thank you. 22.01.2022 Lot’s of action at Pre-school this morning. Some lovely fresh new sand has been put into our sandpit. Unfortunately the Contractors didn’t find any gold whilst digging out the old sand. Guess what they did find though....?

18.01.2022 Our 2 day group children and families have skipped, danced and walked their way around the garden today for our second Walkathon. 'Bubble Alley' was an excitable place to be this morning.

17.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Handley. Only a few days of the Pre-school year remain before we say 'good-bye'. Lot's of families are busy at home creating wonderful Ginger Bread House creations....post your pics here peeps to show us what you made. Thanks to the Abbott Family for getting the ball rolling....yummy!

17.01.2022 Pre-school held a fantastic Walk-a-thon today. The children danced and skipped their way around the Pre-school garden...walking through bubbles, streamers, and misty water to the sounds of groovy music. We finished off with an icy cold treat. PHEW...what a GREAT morning :)

14.01.2022 We haven't forgotten about all our Handley fans...although it may feel that way. This Coronavirus caper has had us super busy over on our 'Hugs from Handley' private Facebook group. Pre-school has been operational throughout this whole time and we are still delivering quality Early Childhood Education to our beautiful children. When we get some time to lift our heads up from the trenches we will share some more exciting activities with you all.

06.01.2022 The children grew these corn flowers & sweet peas as part of a learning experience to attract bees to our garden. We were so successful and observed many little bees coming to feed on our flowers. We hope you enjoy them too.
