25.01.2022 Hey guys happy Friday !!!! No review tonight, but I wanna send out a huge G’Day to Jim and the team at Ryan's Butchery at Wondai !!!! I was in there earlier this week grabbing some meat and saw ’s !!!! Not normal ’s but Matto Roman famous Piefection ’s !!!!!! Those who are new to the page, I review Matty’s ’s earlier this year and WOW they are OUTSTANDING !!! So if your around the Wondai area or passing though make sure you stop in and grab a ’ and stock up of Jim...’s quality selection of local meat !!!!! This butcher shop has been in the family for over 100 years !!!! Now that’s insane. You would not meet a nicer bloke than Jim and I’m positive he would appreciate the support by popping in. Speaking of Wondai I will be posting the review of the Wondai Bakery this Sunday night. So stay tuned for that one guys !!!! A huge thanks to my little mate Nate for assisting me on his weeks review. If you are on the road this long weekend, stay safe and make sure you stop in at your local Bakery and grab a or 3 and support those local businesses.

25.01.2022 Hi lovers last weekend the man jumped in the caravan and headed out to the Island Reach Camping Resort at Imbil. For those not familiar with the area Imbil is a little village town situated about a hour north west of Noosa. While only small in stature this place is a little cracker. 12.01.2022 What a bunch of legends the team at Pacific Haven Bakery are !!!!! A few of my Melb Storm buddies were craving ’s and donuts after being locked down in Twin Waters for the past 8 weeks. I called Ash & Glen and take a look at the amazing care package they put together for the boys !!! The lads absolutely smashed them !!!! All the boys said the ’s and donuts were the best ever !!!!! 03.01.2022 Hey guys as promised we are going to start THROWBACK THURSDAY. For our first edition, we are going to go right back to the start with one of my original reviews !!!! Rick's Artisan Pies & Sourdough is a bloody awesome place with a great variety of awesome ’s !!!!! This review was originally posted 11/12/2019 Minus the shirt and Hat !!!!! Hope you enjoy !!!! WELCOME TO THROWBACK THURSDAY Huge thanks to Rick's Artisan Pies & Sourdough for having me down today to do my ...review. Rick & his old man were absolute legends & so accommodating. Operating for over 2 years and employing 18 odd staff this place is a little gem. With a combined total of 58 odd years baking between, this father & son combo know their pies !!!!!! This shop is a Disneyland for pie lovers with a huge variety of normal and gourmet delights. I didn’t sample just 1 but of these beauties 1. Angus Beef & Bearnaise 2. Creamy Pepper Steak & Mushroom 3. Gunpowder Lamb with Pineapple Salsa 4. Prawn & Snapper in a creamy garlic sauce Just to clarify I didn’t eat all but sampled 1/2 of each pie and all 4 didn’t disappoint. This review will be based on all pies. 1. Value for money - excellent variety and pies priced from $6.90 onwards. Obviously, the gourmet pies where more expensive but well worth the price. These pies are a quality size 9/10 2. Meat Ratio - Chocker Blocker full of delicious ingredients. Couldn’t fit a single bit of meat in these pies 10/10 3. Meat Flavor - OMG !!!!! each was simply OUTSTANDING !!!! Each had its own flavor and all meats slow-cooked. Easily my favorite part of these 10/10 4. Pastry - Couldn’t find a fault with all pies. The pastry was fluffy and the pie held together right to the last bite. 9.5/10 5. Temperature - Spot on !!!!!! These beauties are ready to smash straight away. A pie that’s too hot is like looking at Xmas presents under the tree and having to wait till Xmas day to open them. 9.5/10 Overall Rating 48/50 This shop is a must for any local, tourist or day-tripper to the Noosa area. This Bakery has so much variety that makes you want to come back again and again. Rick & the staff are very friendly and always coming up with new recipes and ideas for their . Will I be back?
