Muriel Chen, owner of Blue Eye Dragon, has been a supporter since Pyrmont Cares began, organising fundraising events in the restaurant. In 2018, Muriel decided on a new way to raise funds and donates $1 for every dine-in cover to PCI. To date a massive $3,000 has been donated. Well done Muriel and her team! 10.01.2022 Hi to all our volunteers and members, Spring is now upon us and what a better time to have a social get together at a local restaurant. As you know there is a lot of good restaurants in Pyrmont however I have been told that the Long Kin Restaurant (Opp the fire station) has an excellent menu for a group. I have recently been to the restaurant and found the food to be very good and on top of that it's BYO.... Long Kin Time 6.30pm on 20 September 2017 www.longkin.com.au Shop 1/2-14, Corner Of Bunn Street & Pyrmont, Sydney New South Wales 02 9277 4656 RSVP to [email protected] by 14 September 2017 I have arranged for the following fixed menu at a good price of $35.00 per head. If anyone has allergies then the menu can be varied. $35 per person Entrees Spring rolls Chicken satay skewers Duck Pancake Fish cakes with Thai herbs salad Mains Grilled Marinated Chicken in Green Curry Tofu and mixed vegetable in oyster sauce Pad Seew (meat of choice: Beef, Chicken, Pork or Seafood) Poached chicken and prawns salad Steamed Jasmine rice Dessert Mango Sticky Rice Parfait. As this will be a great social event I encourage as many of you to come and enjoy the night. Kind regards Peter Devoy 502/21 Cadigal Ave Pyrmont NSW 2009 Australia 02 9566 2366 0408 307 761 [email protected]

10.01.2022 http://www.alexgreenwich.com/stateofemergency As you may be aware, Pyrmont Cares Inc since inception has been involved with helping people that are homeless by way of assisting with food, blankets and providing bicycles. Up until last year we have been assisting with serving food to the homeless at a local restaurant and lending a friendly ear. ... This week is Homelessness Week and a key time to get government and community action on this crisis. Please read the message from Alex Greenwich MP, and I urge to sign the petition.

10.01.2022 We would like to sincerely thank StreetSmart Australia for their generous grant to our organisation.
