17.01.2022 One of the biggest challenges sole traders are facing is CASHFLOW. Usually to get the best price you will need to pay upfront for the materials. If you then add the time to complete the project and the time to actually get paid you are looking at a few weeks before you see money in the bank.... Multiply that by a few projects and you can see why it is a big challenge. As a company our aim is to provide the materials at the most competitive rates. 09.01.2022 2020 was a year unlike any other in the recent history of humanity. Especially here in Australia we had one catastrophe after the other, fires, floods and of course Covid-19 virus. But Australians are showing great resilience and optimism for the future. If we keep supporting our local economies and our nation we will be okay, nothing lasts forever and this storm will pass like all the others in the past. We can’t complaint, we had our fair share of challenges here at PY Ti...mber Warehouse, this year it felt like running a marathon without knowing the end, exhaustion it is truly an understatement. Start of the year no one knew what is coming, so in February we’ve secured our current site just before the implications of Covid-19 dominated our lifes. Imagine you’ve just signed up the biggest commitment to only watch the whole world going into lockdownnevertheless we kept working hard, doing the best we could do every day and staying positive for the future. By July we had managed to move our three warehouses into the current one, rebrand our business and launch our new website/online platform. Our team members doubled in numbers too! Huge appreciation and gratitude goes out to every member of the PY Timber Warehouse team that despite all the challenges stayed positive and focused. Also to all our customers, tradies and DIY’s that have been supporting us. Dear valuable customers, we have honestly tried our hardest to meet your needs but we know that there were some occasions that we failed and we want to apologize! 05.01.2022 According to today's announcements until the 18th of October we will keep operating in the same way we have been under stage 4 restrictions. Our trade customers will be able to visit in store as before and place/receive their orders or request a contactless delivery. Our DIY customers will only be able to click and collect or request a contactless delivery.... The good news are for all our sole trade customers who have been greatly affected by the stage 4 restrictions. Now you can go back to work! It has been a very tough 8 weeks for a lot of you....hopefully you won't have to go through this again. We have experienced first hand how much pressure this situation has put to your families. We believe if we stay open you will recover a lot of your damages over the next few months, let's stay positive, there is not much we can do about the past but we can use our energy to take advantage the present moment that creates our future.
