23.01.2022 Date: 13 November 2019 Meeting Notice State Committee Meeting Annual General Meeting... 13-14 December 2019 The next meeting of the QAFA State Committee will be held Friday 13 December at 1000hrs at the Buderim QFES Station. During this time the 2019 AGM will be held when all positions will be declared vacant and elections for the position of President, Vice President, Secretary, Assist. Secretary, & Treasurer shall be held. Nominations for these positions are to be received in writing from financial members prior to the 30th November. . The next meeting of the QAFA State Committee will be held Friday 23 November at 1500hrs at the Buderim QFES Station following Auxiliary Forum at Kedron QFES Complex at 1 000hrs (subject to confirmation) On Saturday 24 November, the 2018 AGM will commence at 0900 at Buderim The State Committee Meeting will continue following the conclusion of the AGM.

08.01.2022 From Commissioners Office - I am pleased to advise that auxiliary firefighters can now apply for the 2020 Closed Merit Firefighter Recruitment Campaign. Should you have an interest in a full-time career with QFES as a Fire and Rescue Service firefighter, the upcoming closed-merit process provides you with a significant opportunity. Applications will close at midnight on Tuesday 3 September and current auxiliary firefighters can use their Nexus Internal Careers Tile to submit their applications. Recruit courses 109/20 will commence in February next year. I encourage anyone wanting to take the next step in making firefighting their full-time career to apply.
