23.01.2022 The 2020 Wall 2 Wall Ride for Remembrance will take place in Queensland on Saturday 12th September; with all riders joining in a final gesture of solidarity and remembrance as they pay homage to their fallen Police Officers. This ride has remained a massive component of National Police Remembrance for the past 11 years, with the event and associated fundraising exceeding $1 million for Police Legacy's around Australia to benefit the families of deceased police. 21.01.2022 Our Relationship Manager, Tony Ross, had the privilege of presenting the 2020 Inspector David Stevenson Field Training Officer (FTO) Award to Senior Constable Mathew Cooper in recognition of his ongoing commitment as Field Training Officer. The Award recognises the important work that FTOs do, to mentor and train First Year Constables under the rigours of operational policing. 18.01.2022 We’re catching up with our Trainee IT Officer, Travis who started at QBANK earlier this year. Not only did Travis have the pressure of starting a new role, but he also had to dive into the deep end with the technological changes that were required for the organisation to adjust when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. As the youngest staff member at QBANK, Travis has assisted the bank with the challenges that arose from the pandemic and successfully executed our working from home strategy. 09.01.2022 We are incredibly proud of the commitment of our call centre staff, who continually work for the best interests of our members. Since March, our Call Centre Manager Jayde and her team have successfully navigated the constraints surrounding COVID-19, through working remotely with new digital elements, whilst addressing heightened concerns from our members in challenging times, this highlighted the continual support to the business and our members. During this time, under Jay...des direction the Member Service Team processed 13,273 calls, with an average answer speed of 28 seconds. Just recently, he worked closely with loan sales staff over the weekend to assist a Member through a vulnerable situation to ensure a solution was made as soon as possible, giving them the positive outcome that they deserved. Tony plays an integral role in the coordination of the loan assessment queues and demonstrates excellent leadership amongst his peers. In his most current r...ole, Tony leads a small team of skillful credit assessors to ensure our Members’ needs are being met in an efficient manner. Over the years, he has found that helping our Members reach pivotal life moments through the purchase of either a new home or investments for their future is an extremely rewarding part of his job.
