Our very FIRST Food Fair Fundraising for 2021 will be held on 24/01/21(Sunday). We are looking for sponsors 8 x $100 (we already have 2 sponsors) and participants in food stalls. Please kindly take note of the IMPORTANCE NOTICE below: We are living in such an exciting time that we are on home stretch with our Stage 2 project. That said, all temporary fencing on the ground has now been removed and the electric gate has been reinstalled from today 27/8/20. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** Electric Gate at the driveway will be opened during the day for construction workers. However, we CAN'T use the driveway yet. Please DO NOT drive in. Ground is now being prepared for bitumen work for next week for car parking. Cars are still to be parked in the street and access to the monastery is still from the pedestrian gate. We sincerely thank you for your kind cooperation. May all beings be happy, healthy, free from sufferings and all be at total peace

20.01.2022 Stage 2 Completion Update ***************************** Our Stage 2 project is on home stretch. Having said above, we are on our last stage of getting inspection done by an Access Consultant and Certifier to tick all boxes so that we meet all of their criterias/regulations by law as "fit-for-occupancy".... We are acting in accordance with their reports. As per certifer's reports, panic bars are required to install at fire escape doors at new Dhamma Hall and it is on order, lead time given is circa 2 weeks. Access Consultant's report is pending. Though we have finished the car parks to be functional stage, however, by law & due to liability issues, we are not allowed to use them until handover is completed. We will get a handover confirmation date once all the reports have been rectified. Therefore, for the time being, access to the monastery will STILL be from the PEDESTRIAN GATE until further notice. Thanking you all for your understanding and cooperation in this matter

Bags for Alms Procession... **7Monks + 1 Nun=Total 8** As said it before, there will be NOT be an alms procession on event day due to current Covid situation. Hence, should anyone wish to take part in our traditional alms procession for Waso, all are warmly welcome to pay a visit to monastery from now till Sat (8/8/20) by 5 pm. 15.01.2022 9-8-20(Sunday) Waso Robes Offering Ceremony ********************************* Dear Devotees and Dhamma Friends... Please note that the date of the Waso event has been changed from 2-8-20 to 9-8-20, due to concreting work at the pedestrian gate at the monastery. Please kindly be requested that due to the current Covid situation and to be in compliance with Queensland Health Authority regulations, we will be limiting 100 people inside the monastery at any time on the event day, consequently, if head count is exceeded of 100, we kindly request all to understand, be patient, be kind to one another and need to wait outside the monastery to swap with the some people from inside the monastery to exist. There will be crowd control volunteers at the gate with the head counter. We also humbly request all to be co-operated by giving way to people waiting outside, so that they too can come inside the monastery and be part of the event. Please be kind and respectful to the crowd control volunteers. We need your name, phone no and address for a record book. If you prefer to bring your own pen, that is ok with us. Face masks will be provided at the gate should you need or you can bring your own masks. Hand sanitizers will be provided throughout the monastery. Please be mindful to follow the PUBLIC HEALTH RULES.
