21.01.2022 Welcome back to racing at Queanbeyan Racing Club. Our first meeting of the new season will be Tuesday 8 September. Our day will be seven big races with the first at 12.40, full TAB service at all venues. The public is allowed to attend with covid 19 restrictions in place at the course entrance, TAB and bar areas so we will be able to enjoy a day at the track to start the spring. We will be running a small presentation evening at the Jerrabomberra Hotel on Wednesday 2 September starting at 6.30pm to acknowledge the premiership winners of last season and present awards to them. The Jerra Pub also has Covid restrictions but we should be able to enjoy some hospitality and congratulate our winners from last season. See you at the Jerra pub and then at the track in September.

21.01.2022 Three racing points of interest today with Rothenburg racing in the Country championships wild card at Muswellbrook. good luck to the Joe Cleary team at 4.55 this arvo. QRacings luck also stretches to Warwick Farm trainer Annabel Neasham who made the trip down to QRacing on Monday to work two of her horses on our grass between races. It must have worked because Moúnga is running in the Guineas and Queen of Wizardry is in the Golden Slipper.All of Queanbeyan will be watching and cheering for the three runners over the weekend

20.01.2022 Queanbeyan Leagues Club Boxing Day races will be happening again this year with some slight changes due to covid restrictions. Tickets must be purchased prior to the day to gain entry to the course. Tickets are available at all the Queanbeyan Hotels untill sold out. Some tickets are still available but dont delay they are selling fast. First race is at 2.25 and the last is at 5pm. See you at the Races.

14.01.2022 Last night we had the Racing season launch at Jerrabomberra Hotel. Winners on the night were Walshs Hotel who win naming rights to this years Queanbeyan Cup on Sunday November 22 & Joe Cleary Racing who win naming rights to the Thunderbolt also on Cup Day.Thanks to all those that attended on the evening and helped with the smooth running of the night.Special thanks to Mark & his staff from Jerra. 12.01.2022 Jerrabomberra Hotel is the place to be tonight for the Corporate draw and the presentations of the horse of the year, trainer, jockey and apprentice of the year for Queanbeyan. Its a 6.30 start for a few drinks and some nibbles, You can also buy your membership ticket for the new season that starts on Tuesday September 8 with 7 big races starting at 12.40pm. The biggest news is that the general public can attend both the Jerra Pub and the races under strict Covid protocols. So we will see you tonight at Jerra or trackside on Tuesday.

12.01.2022 RacingNSW have just advised that due to the goverment restrictions in place for the corona virus no public will be able to attend our race meeting on Saturday 21 March. This includes owners with horses running. The races will go on with the first of six at 1.13. Extra cleaning protocols will be in place for the jockeys and stewards rooms. The club endorse this tough measure and will still provide a product for the racing public.

Entry to the course is restricted to owners that have registered, members, function attendees; those that have purchased a ticket and industry participants. 06.01.2022 This years Walsh's Hotel Queanbeyan Cup is set to run on Sunday 22 November 2020. Covid restrictions have made this day a lot smaller than it is normally.The largest restriction is on numbers that can attend on course (650). This means entry will be restricted to Members,Owners of horses running that day, Function ticket holders and Industry personnel. A limited number of presale tickets are available from Walsh's, Tourist, Royal, Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan Hotels. Or from ...the club office direct in person or over the phone 61990269 using a credit card. Cost is only $15 each and will be the only way the general public can attend. We will still be holding a Fashions On the Field virtually during next week with great prizes for the winners. 04.01.2022 Randwick races race one won by LOOK ONLY. Trained by Queanbeyan local Fabian Azzopardi and riden by Brock Ryan. He had to beat the barrier draw of 13 and 15 others to get the first prize. Big congratulations to Fabian and the owners The battlers get a victory in the big smoke.
