18.01.2022 The Oaks Estate crossing has reopened today.

17.01.2022 Last year, I spent the entire year working on a story of perseverance and finding one's place in the world, told through a children's Christmas book. The story ...tells the arrival of Anthony at the North Pole who is guided by the head Christmas bear, Theodore, to find him a job within Santa's Workshop. However, things don’t go according to plan for Anthony, but his quick thinking and actions save the day for all the world’s children. The story is inspired by my little sisters book; 'Theodore and Friends' as well as her courageous, selfless, strong and persistent personality. The main character, Anthony, was the 2018 Christmas bear who was named in honour of Dainere for her dedication in her short life, fighting to raise the much needed awareness and funds for paediatric brain tumours which maliciously took her life in 2013 after courageously battling for 4 years. A MASSIVE thank you to John at Transit Graphics for taking my illustration ideas and bringing them to life in the book. You have made it truly magical and a book to treasure always. Due to a printing delay, the book was not available for many to purchase in time for Christmas 2019 however, I am excited to let you know that you can purchase a copy to give to your loved ones for Christmas 2020 next month (November), so keep watching this space and share with family and friends. One hundred percent of all funds raised through this book go directly towards much needed research projects and programs for children with paediatric brain tumours. ~Jarrett

13.01.2022 As we get closer to the end of the 2020 school year, we would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents to label students belongings with their full name and contact number. This helps out our lost property department in returning your students possessions back to them. If you think you have left something on one of our buses, then give us a call on 62993722 and let us know. ... #qcitytransit #lostproperty

13.01.2022 A big thank you to Monaro Police District Highway Patrol Command for their support in promoting National Road Safety Week Pledge to Drive So Others Survive.... 08.01.2022 It’s the end of the first week of Movember and we’ve been helping to raise awareness for this great cause by placing Mos on CDC buses across New South Wales & the ACT. If you see a Qcity Transit, TBX or CDC Canberra bus with it's mo, please send us some pics and perhaps support a worthy cause. Movember aims to raise awareness for a number of men’s issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide. If you’d like to contribute to our Movember fundraiser, please click on https://movember.com/t/cdc-nsw-mo-makers?mc=1

06.01.2022 The history of buses serving Queanbeyan goes back a long way. When the building of Canberra commenced in 1913, walking and horse drawn transport were still the main forms of transport and Queanbeyan was an established settlement adjacent to the new capital city. Transport has certainly come along way in over 100 years. To find out more about the history of buses in the region visit www.qcitytransit.com.au/history...
