24.01.2022 Today, is World AIDS Day. Each year, communities world-wide mark this day in different ways. At QC, we are speaking to our commitment to positive communities, o...ur history and where we've come from. At QC, we have re-committed to maintaining that focus this year in a number of ways, but none so more visibly as through our logo. Inspired by the work of Keith Haring, an artist who gave visibility to the ACT UP movement and the centrality of positive voices in responses to the epidemic, the heart is at the centre of all that we do - and this centrality - born from a time of AIDS Activism, is what has given us the tools to represent a far wider diversity of identities in the way that we know to be most meaningful. Led by our communities, owned by our communities, with our communities. Please keep an eye out for our posts to follow. Now, more than ever. #WorldAIDSDay2020 See more

His mother Susan Wyatt is also an artist and was a finalist in the Archibald Prize in 2003 for her portrait of writer Doris Pilkington (Nugi Garimarra). "Most of all I want to thank my mum, who encouraged me to enter the Archibald Prize in the first place and gave me the courage to be so bold," he said. The West Australian-born, Sydney-based artist, writer and actor is a well-known face in Australia and made headlines in June when he performed a powerful four-minute-speech from his play City Of Gold on the ABC’s Q&A program.
