22.01.2022 How well do we know our British Football teams? Have a go at some of these.

22.01.2022 A few weekends ago Northside Christian Football Club Inc. hosted the first ever U13s Girls Carnival. Sunshine Coast, North and South-East Zones all participated. Congratulations to all of the players that participated and a huge thanks to NCFC for hosting and organising.

21.01.2022 **COVID UPDATE - 12th Sept** This morning the Health Minister announced that there were three new Covid cases, all linked to existing cases. He mentioned that two of which were related to the QCSA outbreak. An online news story ran this as the Queensland Christian Soccer Association outbreak. ... The QCSA has received confirmation that the Minister’s announcement was in reference to the existing cases related to QLD Corrective Services, and not to our soccer association. The QCSA can confirm that we are unaware of any positive Covid cases linked to our association. We have asked the media outlet to post a retraction to their story. We urge that all Clubs continue to follow the established Covid processes as set out by the Industry Plan and QLD Health, and that all players, parents, guardians and friends continue with safe hygiene practices.

21.01.2022 As we return to training, the QCSA reminds all clubs and parents that it is vitally important that we ensure we comply with all Stage 2 Covid Restrictions within our Industry Plan. We understand that it is a difficult time, but we al leave a responsibility to ensure we not only remain healthy for ourselves but we keep each other safe and healthy, too.

21.01.2022 Over the weekend South-East Zone held their trials for States. It was a great day with fantastic talent on show. Well done to all players who came along, and congratulations on the SEZ Committee who did a fantastic job.

20.01.2022 As always, you can check up on the status of closed fields by visiting www.qcsa.org.au. On the right hand side of the homepage will be the "weather status" page for fields. Unless otherwise stated on there, presume your game will go ahead.

18.01.2022 There is a problem with the server which in turn is causing issues with the QCSA webpage, club registrations and any club that uses MyClubMate to host their website. The issue has been worked on all day. We will advise once it is back up and running. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

14.01.2022 Covid-19 Update - 18th May, 2020 The QCSA wishes to remind all clubs that formalised training cannot occur prior to 12 June during Stage One of Queensland's Covid-19 Restrictions, as per State Government directions. It is important that all clubs follow this directive. Further information regarding the State Government's "Return to Play" guidance materials can be found here: https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au//roadmap-to-easing-qu/sport

13.01.2022 With our first games starting up this weekend after an extremely tough period, the QCSA wanted to thank all clubs, players, parents and guardians for their patience. Through the toughest times it’s important to ensure we stick together and ensure we are all safe and well. Good luck to all teams this weekend!

13.01.2022 To our whole QCSA & Football family, have a very Merry Christmas!

13.01.2022 **COVID UPDATE - 22nd August** As you may be aware overnight there was a small Covid outbreak - relating to the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre and a cargo ship. Whilst there will now be restrictions in certain circumstances the QCSA can confirm that games will not be effected by these restrictions.... Field sports will continue to follow the industry-wide Covid plans, as approved by QLD Health. This is the advice of the Chief Health Officer this morning.

13.01.2022 The Premier and Health Minister this afternoon made an announcement with regards to Level 3 Restrictions. What we know is this:- - Some aspects of Level 3 have been moved forward to midday Friday 3rd July. This includes provisions for community sport. - We are aware that this includes full contact sport.... - We are aware of a lifting of max numbers of people (including spectators) at sporting fields, however, household groups are still expected and encouraged to keep 1.5m from others. - We are lead to believe that we will still need to comply with an industry-wide CovidSafe Plan. We are awaiting further advice on this. - Other aspects, such as the keeping of attendance register, are still unknown as of now. We will continue to seek advice on this. We will ensure the release of any new information as quickly as possible. I’m the mean time, we thank our clubs and members for their continued patience.

12.01.2022 QCSA is aware of the reports regarding the precautionary shutdown of Parklands Christian College due to Covid concerns. We are aware that one of our clubs is situated in close proximity to the College and has been in constant contact with both the QCSA and the Health Department. There is no need to be alarmed. Continue to stay home and get tested if you are unwell. Avoid physical contact (as much as possible), practice good hand hygiene, and practice social distancing (as much as possible). The Health Department's Contact Tracers are currently doing their job and further advice will be provided.

10.01.2022 Today we get to celebrate some of the best supporters we have in our Association. To all the mums out there: Thank you for cheering for our players. Thank you for being on oranges and fruit duty.... Thank you for helping to make sure our teams take to the field in clean uniforms Thank you for helping to make sure our players are at the right venue on time Thank you for encouraging our players to take to the field with the right mindset. There is more to our game than winning at any cost. Thank you for supporting our clubs with happy hearts. Thank you for your work to leave a legacy that goes far beyond the sidelines of our fields. Thank you for raising young children that grow up and understand the benefits of teamwork. Most important, thank you for loving our players. May today be a day where you are celebrated for all that you do.

05.01.2022 Here’s an impressive challenge by Steph Catley and Dean Bouzanis.

05.01.2022 Members, The suburbs on the list released by QLD Health, does NOT mean that there is restricted access to the suburbs themselves. Please see shared post below. New updates have been made to Queensland's Aged Care Direction that restricts access to residential aged-care facilities in certain suburbs. It does NOT mean that there is restricted access to the suburbs themselves.

03.01.2022 Today we celebrate Those in our lives who sacrifice so much for us. Who taught us so many things as we grew up. Who kept us safe and secure. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there!
