13.01.2022 It's National Volunteer Week! This years theme is "Changing Communities. Changing Lives", and that is something we strive to do in the CWA! Our CWA Ashburton ...members are passionate women with huge hearts, who love to make a difference in our community. This year our members have been busy: knitting teddies for children in hospital sewing gowns for nurses and doctors making and donating jam to families in need creating comfy pouches for animals in shelters tutoring migrants in English and lots more! We love to get together, develop connections, share our passions, community spirit and help others! #NVW2020 #NationalVolunteerWeek #cwaashburton #cwavictoria See more
07.01.2022 In this time of staying home and helping to flatten the curve our members have been tinkering away at the sewing machine. We are absolutely loving our newly des...igned and hand printed tote bags. Delivering an important message of the QCWA and what our branch hopes to continue when things start to return to normal. We would love to welcome more women to our branch. Perhaps this will be a perfect opportunity to reach out and make some new friends? It may be a few weeks or months yet before we can meet up in person. But in the mean time send us a PM and we’ll get in touch. We would love to hear from you #StayConnected #friendship #community #volunteers See more
