12.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE Harvey Norman throws their weight behind the QCWA Harvey Norman throws their weight behind the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) and t...he community with a range of Free Workshops in the wake of the Devastating Floods everything from Pottery, Chocolate Making, Resin Art, Christmas decorations and Painting in this round with more Workshops planned for the New Year. QCWA President Jeanette Weston says that our community has suffered with a number of Mental Health Challenges and these workshops allow the community to build, connect and learn new skills and hobbies which are known to be critical for resilience. Jeanette Weston says the CWA could not have been able to provide this service to the community without Harvey Normans generous support raising a substantial amount of money through the silent auction. Members of the community can register for these workshops at Harvey Norman Domain furniture counter, there is a $5 registration fee per workshop. A list of workshops and dates is available instore and on our facebook page QCWA NDIV.

02.01.2022 Beetroot brownies. The ones on the left in my opinion are the nicest. With them I took out the 150g sugar and added a desert spoon of honey, also I didn't have quite enough almond meal and used 10grams of hazel nut meal. The ones on the right have 50 g sugar, still nice but a bit bitter so will try 75g sugar next time.
