We are very grateful to the City of Gold Coast for generously supporting QCWA Coolangatta Branch with a $4,996 Community Organisation COVID-19 Recovery Grant. This grant will allow us to do necessary repairs and maintenance to safely run QCWA Country Kitchens healthy eating and healthy cooking workshops. ... These workshops will enable more members, including new members, to train as Country Kitchens facilitators and deliver more workshops for vulnerable members of our community. Even better, we will be able to support local business, who will help us with the work.

08.01.2022 Our sincerest thanks to City of Gold Coast for generously providing QCWA Coolangatta Branch with a grant for $1,980 to assist us to continue our community support work during the challenges of coronavirus. The COVID-19 Community Organisation Hardship Grant will be used to prepare care packs for local women and their children who have become victims of domestic and family violence. We are committed to supporting Gold Coast and Coolangatta businesses by purchasing the persona...l hygiene and other essentials for the care packs from them. Our members will provide material, sew beautiful cloth bags and pack the items in the bags for donation to these women and their children.
