19.01.2022 You dont have to be a QCWA member to enter all our competitions! QCWA convenes annual competitions across a broad range of skills. We provide a platform for competition in order to foster high standards in each field as a community service. But more importantly, we aim to promote a broad interest in the activity itself and the competitions complement our workshops and craft groups. STATE COMPETITIONS:... International - Primary School Competition International - Member and YL Competition International - UNAA/QCWA Award Competition Art Competition Cookery Competition Dressmaking Competition Floral Art Competition Handcraft Competition Knitting and Crochet Competition Photography Competition Public Speaking and Essay Writing Competition Carrot Tea Towel Competition All of our competitions run from November to October. Judging at a Branch level is done throughout the year with finalists being judged at the QCWA Annual State Conference held in October.

Has decided to donate 20% of sales from her "Country Side" artisan gift range, to our QCWA Gracemere Branch. She has created this beautiful range of artisan products using 100% Australian Pure Soy Wax along with Eucalyptus, Cedarwood and Australian Bush essential and fragrance oils. She has named the scen...t "Country Side". Currently available is the "Re-purposed Jar Candle" 400g nett (shown here in the image below), "Apothecary Jar Candle" 100g nett (coming soon) and also available are the "6 cavity soy wax melts" 90g nett (currently in production). Price list: 6 Cavity Soy Wax Melts 90g nett $6.95 each Apothecary Jar Candle 100g nett $8.95 each Re-purposed Jar Candle 400g nett $15.95 each Orders are currently being taken and if you would like to order any of these products, please inbox Gracemere Qcwa and we can pass the orders onto Marie Robinson. These orders will be available for pick up (place of pick-up to be advised). Please note: If you would like to have these sent out as a gift intra-state or interstate, please be aware that there is a flat rate for shipping and handling of $10.50 if you wish to have the orders posted out.
