16.01.2022 **PLEASE SHARE** With Gympie Community Place and the Healthy Play Project, we are hosting a community information day on June 17th! This is an open event for al...l people and families in Gunalda and surrounding areas to get information and advice on community supports that are available to you. Knowing who can support, or how to access that support, can be extremely challenging. This day has been put together to help families and individuals in our area navigate these complicated systems. Information on DV support, legal aid, community housing, drug and alcohol support, NDIS, financial aid and more! For families with children between 0-5 years, the regional Autism specialist from Nelle Francis is attending and Sound Scout will be there for hearing checks. The team can discuss and assess any concerns about developmental milestones and school readiness. They can assist in navigating early intervention pathways through NDIS and help support families in booking GP and Paediatric appointments. If you have any questions, concerns or uncertainties, they can help point you in the right direction. Free BBQ lunch on offer for those that attend. 10.01.2022 Miva Branch's June meeting was held in the Cedar Pocket Hall so some of us could also enjoy celebrating Cedar Pocket's 70th Birthday straight afterwards. Many thanks to the Branch for a day of friendship and lovely food.
