25.01.2022 A wonderful year ends for Q Driver Training as our own family member, Jason Entero, managed to convert his Philippine license to an Australian, QLD open license. 14.01.2022 It has been a busy and productive week for James. Last Tuesday, Annelise passed her auto car driving test on her first attempt at Redclifffe Transport. Yesterday, it's a back to back success for both our manual car trained students, Aaron & Jadeen who also nailed their driving test at Redclifffe Transport.... We are grateful to all our dear students for choosing our service.

14.01.2022 Yesterday, Friday Alex was successful on her 1st attempt to pass her driving assessment at Carseldine QT. She is now a licence driving and very happy. Alex is a charming and beautiful young lady who would rather spend time days hiking with her father through some of Tasmania hiking tracks than with other school leavers at the Gold Coast. 13.01.2022 SPEEDING FINES USING COVERT POLICING. Australia is one of the most expensive in the world for speeding fines, with the 6th highest fines for speeding 20km/hour over the speed limit. Yet the Australian fatality rate is nearly twice as bad as the UKs. Australia is ranked 15th out of 31 OECD countries for deaths per 100,000 population?... In the last decade Australia has seen a 24% increase in the total count of vehicles registered, meaning that there is a lot more cars on Australian roads so statistically then in the past 30 years road fatalities have dropped by 60% in Australia. But do such fines actually help reduce the road toll or is it other factors such as improved vehicle safety standards, improved infrastructure design or standard to obtain a driver licence? There is no one answer but all factors are intertwined safe vehicles, safe roads and safe drivers. The controversial speed camera was set up on the Deagon Deviation in Bracken Ridge, in Brisbane's north, on Boxing Day to catch speeding motorists on the adjacent highway. Is this really necessary? Any other motorists parked in that position would not only be fined but would be towed away. It's a shame that Police Officer felt it was necessary to break the law to perform this work. Covert police work is a very effective deterrent and perhaps our roads should be Policed in that manner but not to perform it so may jeapodise the safety of other road users. In this case pedestrians and cyclists using that track.
