24.01.2022 QG Air’s Rescue 500 had a great morning training with the Redcliffe Coastguard in Deception Bay. A huge thank you to all the Coastguard volunteers assisting us to make this operation happen.

Patient has been extricated from the vehicle and is now being transferred to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition. 22.01.2022 Rescue 500 had a Busy night and morning searching out on the bay.

18.01.2022 This afternoon, Townsville‘s Rescue 521 were tasked to a ute & caravan roll over, 5km north of Belyando Crossing. Both people trapped in the wreckage were extricated with minor injuries. The very lucky pair are now being transported to Townsville University Hopsital in a stable condition. Photo of the wreckage and their show of support for each other after such a horrific accident. 09.01.2022 Earlier today, QGAir Brisbane Helicopter, Rescue 500, was tasked by Brisbane Water Police to assist in a rescue of a post drowning patient from an upturned vessel. The boat had capsized while crossing the South Passage Bar. Luckily, a passing vessel came to the assistance of the two occupants that ended up in the ocean. Our Rescue Crewman and Flight Paramedic were winched down from Rescue 500 onto the Coast Guard Vessel, so they could treat the injured female. The female wa...s winched in a stretcher from the vessel into the aircraft and flown to the PA Hospital. Thanks to Water Police and Coast Guard vessels for their outstanding assistance in the stretcher winch recovery and for transporting our medical crew, to and from the recovery vessel. #rescue #QGAir #rescuehelicopter #qps #coastguard #brisbane #rescue500 See more

07.01.2022 This evening QGAir Rescue 521 was tasked to a cattle station south east of Hughenden. The crew treated two patients, one with a blast injury to his left hand and other with blast injury to his chest. This mornings task was to Flagstone and later in the day, to a sand hill behind the wrecks on Moreton Island. 05.01.2022 QGAir Brisbane based helicopter, Rescue 500, had back to back primary medicals in the Scenic Rim late this afternoon. Landing at Boonah airport we witnessed an amazing sunset. Thanks to all the various QAS units and QFES teams for their support and assistance on the tasks. Both patients were airlifted to the PA Hospital in Brisbane.
