23.01.2022 Hi everyone, I’ve finally got some updates for you all. BCNA has decided to go ahead with a Junior only competition this season. Along with this, they’ve implemented restrictions on the number of spectators at a game. As part of these restrictions, umpires are not able to have a coach on the sideline. Because of this we’ve had to make the unfortunate decision to forgo putting new umpires on Saturday games for this season. I know there were a lot of you excited to give umpirin...g a go this year and I am sincerely sorry that we were unable to do more to get you onto a court. Please keep up your enthusiasm, keep reading over your rules and hopefully we can start fresh next season. As for our returning umpires, please fill out the form I’ve linked below to tell me when you’re available to umpire this season. The roster for this first round will likely come out a bit late, so you can help speed up the process by filling out the form as soon as you can. As always, I’ll keep you informed and please feel free to contact the page or me directly with any questions you might have. - Danielle https://docs.google.com//1cOC9t14qWucVam3TE2QTYqWeQSb/edit
13.01.2022 Very exciting news that we’re able to get back to training as of this week! Unfortunately, due to the restrictions about game play still being in effect until July 1, we won’t be able to start umpiring training just yet. Keep an eye on the page and we’ll update you with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, keep brushing up on those rules and feel free to message the page if you’ve got any questions.
11.01.2022 Due to the Covid-19 restrictions there are some important decisions that need to be made about the 2020 Netball Season. All QHNC Members must complete this survey no later than 9pm tonight (July 9).
