07.01.2022 The Weather Forecast for Saturday remains consistent in predicting a hot day for Saturday. As such we will take the precaution of moving to earlier start times - 8:30 games are to commence at 8am and 11am games @ 10:00am for this Saturday only We have the utmost confidence in the Hills Heat Policy, there is to be no variance from that Policy, no extending the time to achieve a legal game. The link to the Policy is A21 Heat Policy.doc (australis.net.au) As an added precaution, my advice to all teams is to have a bucket of ice water water and towels in both Dugouts and have players use them. Catchers and Umpires are going to be the most vulnerable if the heat does eventuate.
