24.01.2022 286 Out of about 20 images this is the best picture of a tiger I could manage. I think the animal had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder the way it relentlessly paced to and fro in its enclosure.

23.01.2022 279 Also near to Wave Rock is 'Mulka's Cave'. This attraction has an example of aboriginal art (a fish on the left with a curved line joining it to a moon on the right) and some hand prints, and a legend about it.

20.01.2022 290 The camel-leopard, thought at one time to be the result of a cross between a camel and a leopard. Now known as the giraffe. The funny thing about giraffes is that many people believe that they have long necks, while in reality giraffes have very short necks. Very short indeed.

07.01.2022 288 Our local ape, the orangutan. Terrific animals we could watch them all day. How are orangutans different from humans? Humans watch orangutans; orangutans show little interest in humans.

04.01.2022 287 A Komodo dragon. Our taxi driver related his adventures in going to the Indonesian island of Komodo to see a dragon in its own habitat. He tale included wild pigs and rats in their overnight accommodation. So we're sticking with our zoo experience.
