21.01.2022 Today I put my arty hat on & made lanterns for my Anzac Day Dawn Service for in my driveway; have been inspired by all the clever people out there! These were m...ade using 2lt milk cartons & permanent marker pens. I will put sand in the bottom of them to weigh them down on the day, then the tea light candle to light the way! For the pictures all you need to do, if artistically challenged like myself is to get online & pick a simple picture, create your own stencil & place on the inside of the milk carton to trace, then colour in. Pick a different pic for each side if you want! See more

12.01.2022 From Glenore Grove Country Music Club. COVID NEWS Well all you wonderful Country Music fans out there will be disappointed to hear that due to the recent outbreaks of Covid 19 in local areas. The West Moreton area is under tighter restrictions with groups reduced to ten people. I have been informed that due to most of our patrons being in the group of people most threatened by this virus our country music is cancelled until further notice.I am very disappointed myself by this... decision but we must exercise caution and stick to the rules for our utmost safety. Unlike some members of the community who don't care about anyone else but themselves.. I will keep you posted of any changes but I know some of you have already told me you were concerned about your health risks and wouldn't be attending in September anyway. So I hope you all keep safe and happy and hopefully this awful thing will be over soon..Cheers for now. Love to you all and keep that Country Music playing.. Till next time. 08.01.2022 On behalf of... West Moreton Country Music Club. The Management Committee have made the decision that all Club Meetings, Rehearsals and Socials have been cancelled until further notice. We ask that you assist by passing the word to audience members that are not Club members. ... When the situation changes and we no longer need to practice Social Distancing we will resume our monthly gatherings. That will be communicated via email, phone, Facebook and a Newsletter via mail.. 05.01.2022 The Munna Creek Hall committee and Lex K are holding a Country Music Walkup Day at the Hall on Sunday November 15th commencing at 10am. Tea and coffee will ...be available but take your own lunch. $5 pp charge and they are allowed up to 55 people. Covid precautions will be taken. There will be a good band but bring along your own instruments as well. Also your own chairs and sun hats in case we hold it outdoors.
