We get lots of questions about this one, here's a few specs: - 1.7m carbon composite hexacopter - 6x batteries for power redundancy - 3x GPS/IMU for navigation and stability redundancy... - 40 minute max flight time - 15kg max take-off weight What's it used for? Mostly radiometric thermal inspections, heavy payloads, and the 3x GPS eliminates the need for a magnetometer compass meaning we can fly near extreme magnetic interference. Price? Around $35,000 for a rig like this.
