15.01.2022 Broadwater to Tamborine picnic run. What a great morning! Thanks to all that came along. We met up at the Parklands Cafe car park. The first lady was ready early this morning, so we arrived ahead of schedule with only Helen and Trevor there already. Whilst we waited for the others to arrive we moseid over to the cafe for some starter fuel (Coffee). At departure time we only had 5 out of the 10 cars that booked, with 3 cancellations and 2 no shows....Continue reading

14.01.2022 Some great photos from the Sprints! Thank you Warren for sharing these, looks like it was a really great weekend!

13.01.2022 John R took his lovely Cobra out on a run to the Fernvale Pie shop. It was the perfect day for a run unfortunately there were not other club members on the run. However there was a big crowd at the Ferndale Pie Shop and plenty of interest in the cobra. John's son and grandson also came along in a 454 Corvette.

07.01.2022 Hello extended family, friends and people I don't know yet. I'm really hoping someone out there can help! On the Sunday night the 21st June at 10.12pm some...thing significantly life changing occurred to me. A Creme Beige 40 ft Hi-Cube storage container (with a whirly bird on top) was stolen from Beaurepairs Mitchelton car park. It was the remote storage for the auto parts business I operate across the road - Auto Power Parts. It contained between $300-350K of mostly new performance and replacement parts for US and Australian V8's and 6-Cyl's and some second hand V8 and 6-Cyl performance parts. The container was 3/4 full and the inventory was too varied and extensive to list it all here. The GPS movements of the container had it go to a Brisbane northern suburb but as of today it's exact whereabouts has not been established. I am offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the recovery of the container and it's contents and the identification and prosecution of the parties responsible. The contents was the result and effort of my 30yrs in business and part of my self managed superannuation plan for my pending semi-retirement transition. I am beyond devastated with the loss and it is significantly effecting my daily trading activity as I have essentially lost half of my business's dependent stock. You can either contact me directly on 0405 434 351 or Crime Stoppers. Your identity will be kept strictly confidential. I am happy for as many of you as possible to share this post. Please help in anyway you can even if it's being aware of parts being offered for sale. Thank-you all for your time. Best Regards Scott Stirling See more
