19.01.2022 Any teams playing at Lions Stadium this Sunday it is advised you leave a bit earlier due to an expected large crowd for the Magregor vs Mayweather fight. The fight starts at 3pm so just when games are getting under way. Field 3 beyond the rear carpark will be open for football people. It would be appreciated if you could park in this area to enable to licensed club to continue to trade as normal given thecvolume of people likely to attend the fight.

08.01.2022 As announced by Football Queensland last week, the suspension of all sanctioned grassroots football competitions & associated training will continue to 30 June 2020. Proposed timeline of competitions may therefore be from July to November - Football Brisbane have also indicated that their competitions could resume early to mid July 2020, and so we will be planning our own QMF competitions in line with decisions made by them. Further updates will be provided as they become a...vailable. Football Administration staff of Lions FC have been stood down in the wake of the COVID 19 crisis, but we are monitoring emails & communciations from the associations and will be working on fixtures once we have confirmation of likely season start dates.
