25.01.2022 Last weekend, we had the privilege of hosting a lunch with The Welcome Dinner Project a phenomenal initiative connecting newly arrived people with established Australians over the ultimate unifier: a great meal. After a year of unprecedented isolation and difficulty for so many, it was profoundly moving to feel such a strong sense of community in a room of strangers. Connections were made and friendships formed as a handful of Australians, old and new, came together to sha...re cultures, journeys and meals. Special thanks to The Welcome Dinner Project - QLD team for their hard work in making this lunch happen.
