Our practice boasts a rehab gym area with water rower, exercise bike, smith machine, reformers and a range of other rehabilitation equipment. We offer boutique clinical and studio pilates classes, and have a focus on individualised treatment and care. We value continuous learning and in-service. We currently have two physiotherapists, our practice manager, and a receptionist. Our practice management software is Cliniko and we use PhysiApp to prescribe exercises. 21.01.2022 **Private Practice Webinar Free Registration** As previously advertised, here is the link for the private practice webinar next Wednesday, September 30th at 5pm with Physio Anchors. There is a strict limit of 50 participants allowed so make sure you register quickly! Registration Link:... https://us02web.zoom.us//regist/WN_ghK3lCiWQ_WXUAmwUw477g This is something you truly don't want to miss that is not only applicable for those interested in private practice, but for all physio new graduates entering the workforce and profession of physiotherapy. Particularly surrounding the notion of physio burnout for new grads and how to prepare for life after university. Here is some more information about the webinar's hosts: Kieran Spillane is a physio and the director of 8th Ave Physio on the Gold Coast. David Reid is the senior associate physio at 8th Ave Physio. They both help clients who are struggling with pain as a result of low prioritisation of their health and well-being, and who have lost trust in their bodies. They love the feeling of getting their clients pain-free and back into the things they love. With 13 years of private practice experience, and over 40,000 consultations to date between them, they have noticed an increasing trend of physiotherapists burning out, hating their job and ultimately quitting never to return. Last they heard, the physiotherapy attrition rate is around 5 years post-graduation due to low empowerment of physios entering the workforce. They themselves have both burnt out several times but managed to always find their way back thanks to their passion for the craft. They are now sharing some insights for new physios and undergrads to help buffer the attrition rate and have the new wave of physios who find themselves in private practice, Winning at Work and Loving the Life. Look forward to seeing you all there!
