Border Restrictions Direction (No. 10) Effective from 31 July 2020 The purpose of this Direction is to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The Queensland Government is tightening its border restrictions. The Direction has been updated to: Clarify what a private vehicle is Allow people moving from a hotspot to make Queensland their permanent home to enter the state, as long as they quarantine in government arranged accommodation All people in Queensland in custody who have to enter Queensland as part of their custody do not need to complete a Border Declaration Pass. This direction replaces the former Border Restrictions Direction (No. 9) made on 27 July 2020.
