25.01.2022 Queenslands planning framework plays an important role in assisting the states economic recovery. In July 2020, we consulted with the community about proposed changes to planning laws to reduce red tape and simplify planning processes, so Queensland can get back on its feet quickly. Ten different partnerships between schools and industry provide students with a ...range of learning experiences to assist them in their career choices and pathways to employment. On Tuesday, Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) held a ‘Tradies for a Day’ workshop for 20 female students from Moranbah State High School. The education arm of Queensland Resources Council QMEA is the Gateway to Industry Schools industry partner for minerals and energy training, and runs a whole range of amazing programs to encourage young people to consider VET and STEM-related careers in the resources sector, with a strong focus on female students.
