08.01.2022 To all members of SEQWRL... I would like to take this opportunity to thank several committee members who have stepped down from their positing to allow the orga...nisation to continue its growth and have found other pathways to face new challenges moving forward. Shaun Harre has been one of the originals who have gone beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of SEQWRL as an organization and Wheelchair Rugby League as a sporting activity for members of the greater community. I thank you whole heartedly for your time and passion. Congratulations on being representing Queensland and Australia in the sport that we all love. I wish you well in your future and thank you for your on-going support. Cory Mostran has decided to step down from his secretarial duties to concentrate on his future endeavors and will act as a general committee member. Like Shaun, Cory has been with us right through this SEQWRL journey and has been a pillar of strength to those around him. He too has done Queensland proud through representative honors and being selected as part of the Australian Wheelaroos training squad for the English Ashes tour. Thank you for your efforts Cory and look forward to your ongoing support. On a brighter note congratulations are in order for our two immigrants all the way from the mother land called England...(no offence intended) Jack Brown the WORLD'S BEST wheelchair rugby league player and his better half Jade have accepted roles in the committee with Jack becoming a general member, technical advisor, mentor, coaches assistant being a couple of the hats he will wear. Jade has accepted the challenge left by Cory's resignation. We welcome you both into this amazing organization and sport we all love called Wheelchair Rugby League. - JJ Atuahiva (President SEQ).
