Cheyanne Conroy is a proud Wurundjeri woman, primary school teacher and Indigenous leader. She introduced a school-wide program encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to identify with and connect with their culture. She coordinates with AIME to engage students with a focus on the Yugambeh la...nguage. Cheyanne was the first Aboriginal person to receive the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship at Griffith University.
