16.01.2022 #ALWAYS get a licenced electrician to do your electrical work. Even if you think you know what you’re doing, if you are unlicensed, it’s illegal and dangerous!

11.01.2022 Electric shock and fire risk in your home - Dielle Residual Current Devices model YK78 What is it? A Residual Current Device stops you receiving a fatal shock i...f you touch an electrically live component or product in your home. What is wrong with it? The Dielle RCD (YK78) may fail and put you and your family at risk of electric shock or fire. They have an invalid approval mark on them. These RCDs were sold from 2006 to 2013 in SA and QLD, and may be installed in your electrical meter box. How do I fix it? Only a licensed electrical contractor can fix it. Dielle is no longer trading and can't help you. If you think you have one of these installed, you should pay an electrician to inspect and replace it. We strongly recommend replacing the device. Injuries from electrical fires or shocks can be serious or fatal. See the full recall: https://bit.ly/2YSOuwG

01.01.2022 #IMPORTANT Schneider Electric is recalling a range of Clipsal 10mA residual current devices (RCDs). The RCDs are likely installed in hospitals, aged care facil...ities and schools. They may also be in homes where the occupant has medical home care. Review any of your work since 1 July 2017 that involved installing Clipsal 10mA socket outlets and service panel RCDs. Let the home or business owner know about the risk of electric shock and advise them to contact Clipsal to arrange rectification. Stop using these products and if you see or work on one let the home or business owner know. Read more here https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au//recall-of-clipsal-socket- See more
