22.01.2022 Well QMHE 2019 has come and gone, and I would like to thank all those who attended and enjoyed the show. My thanks also go to all the Retailers and Clubs who attended who helped make it the successful weekend it has been. I said this this afternoon, but want to reiterate that this show does not happen by itself and even though my team has struggled with many life incidents this year, we still managed to pull together and put on an event that was one of the smoothest run over all the years that I have been involved. To them I say extremely heartfelt thank you. David (President).

02.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone. We hope you all had a safe and enjoyable Christmas & New Year. Just a reminder that this years show is scheduled for Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August 2020. 01.01.2022 Here’s the first of two big announcements today! The QMHE is launching a new website! The site will have additional functionality and features that it has not had before. Due to this development, the existing site will not be updated. ... We are just working through some details but we are hoping to have it live very soon!

01.01.2022 Good Afternoon Everybody, Due to a number of comments (in respect to the COVID-19 virus), I have read across a couple of social media sites in the last day or so, I felt it necessary to keep everyone updated on the status of the running of the 2020 QMHE. Obviously there has been a substantial amount of coverage, especially in the media, about the virus, its effects on humans, and its implications on our way of life; it is of major concern. Many sporting events, concerts, and... overseas hobby shows, have already been cancelled, and it is inevitable that more will follow. Right now though, we are still proceeding with preparations for this years event; but obviously this is a very fluid situation, which changes daily. The QMHE committee are closely monitoring the Federal and State Government Health Websites, and we will take advice and direction from them, if and when it becomes necessary. Please remember though, that as much as we all enjoy this, and many other shows around the country, that it is STILL ONLY A MODEL SHOW; the health and well being of all our attendees, families and friends certainly out ways the need for the running of the show. Keep an eye on this page for further updates as they occur. David de Ryck President 2020 QMHE
