22.01.2022 **IMPORTANT: CANCELATION OF QPR2020 CONFERENCE It is with great regret that I’m writing to let you know that the forthcoming QPR2020 (14th Quality in Postgraduate Research conference) has had to be canceled because of the developing COVID-19 situation. Unfortunately, the rapidly developing situation (in terms of the virus’s spread and the associated health implications, and also the increasingly restrictive governmental and institutional policies) have made the decision inev...itable. I’d like to thank you for your support for QPR2020 by either submitting a proposal for a paper, roundtable or symposium, by supporting one of the Special Interest Groups, by reviewing submissions to provide feedback to the authors and conference committees, or by volunteering to support delegate at the conference during the event. Through your efforts, an excellent program had been developed which we will, unfortunately, not be able to enjoy. I am, however, pleased to be able to let you know that, while the QPR2020 conference is canceled, we have agreed that a re-scheduled Quality in Postgraduate Research conference should be held in Adelaide at the National Wine Centre during the week of 12-16 April 2021. Please put the dates in your calendar. We will announce further details as soon as possible. As we are effectively re-scheduling the conference, we will roll forward to the 2021 event any registrations for which refunds are not requested. If you want a refund of registration fees already paid for the 2020 conference, these are available through the Eventbrite website. Once again, can I pass on my thanks for your ongoing support for QPR, my sincere regrets for having to announce the conference’s cancelation and my hope that we’ll be able to welcome you to Adelaide in just over a year’s time. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with either myself or Lea McBride.
