24.01.2022 Notices: The indoor pool is closed from today Sunday 10 January until next Sunday 17 for re-flooring. Also, the Splash Park is only available today, Sunday 10 January from 3.30pm -5.30pm as we have several birthday party bookings.

24.01.2022 It's nearly time to get back into swimming lessons for Term 4! Make sure you check the fortnightly timetable.

24.01.2022 Early morning lap swimming at Braidwood will recommence next week. This is weekly from Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 January from 6am.

23.01.2022 As per previous years, the Bungendore Swim Club has a regular booking on Thursdays from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. The pool will be unavailable to the public during this time. They will break over the Christmas period with the last session being 17 December and will return from 4 February.

23.01.2022 Due to private bookings, the only lap lane we have available tonight Monday 24 May (after 4.30pm), is from 5.30pm - 6.30pm.

23.01.2022 QPRC Aquatics Queanbeyan is closed tomorrow for ANZAC Day. Lest we forget. We will re-open on Monday as normal 5.30am - 7.30pm.

22.01.2022 Due to popular demand we are offering two additional Aqua Fitness classes from next week. * 6:30am - Wednesdays * 6:30pm - Thursdays Aqua classes are Motion (no Zumba). Bookings can be made by calling the centre on 6285 6346.

21.01.2022 COVID-19 has changed many aspects of our lives, including the way we transact with businesses. To reduce the risk of transmission between staff and customers, Council has not accepted cash at its various facilities since March 2020 and has seen an increase in online and phone payments. As we continue to manage the challenges of COVID-19, we’re keen to hear from our customers about these changes and whether the concept of a cash-free Council would have a significant impact on our customers. 18.01.2022 Our Aqua Fitness classes will break over Christmas so our instructors can have a well-earned rest. The last class will be Wednesday 23 December at 8.30am and will return on Monday 18 January at 6.30am.

11.01.2022 A happy 59th birthday to the Queanbeyan (outdoor) pool. The Queanbeyan War Memorial Swimming Pool was officially opened on Armistice Day Saturday 11 November 1961. Julie who has been working at the pool for the last 25 years is pictured. We hope to be able to have a celebration worthy of the occasion for our 60th birthday in 2021.

10.01.2022 QPRC are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the QPRC Aquatics team as Seasonal Senior Pool Attendants at our Eastern Pools, located in Braidwood, Bungendore, and Captains Flat. The successful candidates will have proven experience in both customer service and in the aquatic environment, possess relevant qualifications in Aquatic activities, and will have a valid employee NSW Working With Children Check. 08.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to staff shortages, the Braidwood pool will not be open tomorrow, Friday 18 December. We are currently trying to recruit more qualified staff.

07.01.2022 A friendly reminder that from Monday 21 December Captains Flat pool's opening hours will be 11.00am - 6.30pm. This will be in place for the school holidays and return back to 2.00pm - 6.30pm from Wednesday 27 January.

07.01.2022 Captains Flat Public School will be using their local pool to complete a swim program. The program will on weekdays starting from today, Thursday 26 November until Wednesday 9 December from 1.30pm - 3.00pm. The Captains Flat pool will be unavailable to the public during these times.
