22.01.2022 This guy has just been born and now waiting for his owner. Hopefully, they will like each other .

20.01.2022 Our clients always have an opportunity to choose how their sockets are going to look like. Here our small collection of skulls. It seems that it is a quite popular theme

19.01.2022 Imagine that a small company like Lindhe Xtend can start a prosthetic company from scratch. With a passion to create prosthetic innovations for the global marke...t, Christoffer Lindhe founded his own company and invented the exceptional foot Xtend Foot. With a prosthesis foot that can adapt up to 17 sideways, almost like the human foot, it will give amputees increased stability and balance when walking outdoors on uneven terrain like cobble stone, gravel roads, grass or just on pavements. Want to know more about this Swedish innovation? Watch the movie? 17.01.2022 Sometimes prostheses change their appearance On the photo, you can see the same prosthesis, its socket was re-laminated due to the mechanical damage. As a consequence, it changed its appearance: from one lovely print to another lovely picture

17.01.2022 This prosthesis has just been finished. Colors selection looks not bad . Hopefully, our client will like it . Looking forward to her visit .

17.01.2022 Challenger foot and Deadpool, how does this combination work? We are going to know very soon!

16.01.2022 It seems to be the last prosthesis in this year. Very symbolic, though. Yin-Yang symbol probably reflects what we all have experienced during the last year. Hopefully, next year will bring more light than shadow We wish all QP clients and our FB friends Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

16.01.2022 That was the fastest prosthetic treatment in our practice, the whole process took no more than 45 minutes! In 45 minutes our client was ready to leave the clinic on his new prosthesis (we thank our client for his participation in the short trial ). iFit system is a good option for interim prosthetics allowing to apply a total surface bearing adjustable sockets in combination with liners to those who are receiving their first prosthesis.

15.01.2022 This is a prosthesis for recently quite uncommon level of amputation. Because of the deficit of clearance, we could not install modular components, thus almost totally lost adjustability. We have made a test socket first to make sure it fits well and to find an alignment but it is not 100% accurate. In the photo a low profile Pirogoff foot is temporarily connected to the prosthesis by means of the fibre tape, we still have minimal adjustability of the prosthesis and going to test it today

15.01.2022 This week begins with Genium - one of the most sophisticated electronic knee joints on the market; besides other advanced functions, this model provides OPG - Optimized Physiological Gait. This time we have combined it with a Taleo foot - looks and works well.

13.01.2022 One more sports prosthesis has recently left our clinic. Hopefully, our client will enjoy doing his sports

11.01.2022 Limb-art Founder Mark Williams talks through this weeks production and shows off our great Flick paint Wave and Purple Sparkle Ultralight

06.01.2022 We are living in strange times... We are proud of our clients who make all efforts to maintain their fitness.

04.01.2022 Sometimes we have to combine technologies (or their elements) which came from different ages to solve uncommon problems. The socket in the pictures combines a modern total surface bearing socket shape with the upper element of PTS socket which was introduced in the practice in 1960-s. Originally, a PTS socket was developed to make it strapless, or self-suspending. However, we made an inner flexible PTS-like socket to stabilize a patella. In-clinic results were promising. Now, this socket is being tested by our client in his real environments. We are keeping our fingers crossed

03.01.2022 This is the first iFIT system in Australia. This system has been designed for both below knee and above knee amputees who have never had prosthesis before. iFIT system consists of the total surface bearing adjustable socket, pin lock and connective components allowing an amputee to get their first artificial limb and leave an amputee clinic on the interim prosthesis the same day! Also, the socket can be easily adjusted if a stump changes its volume. http://www.ifitprosthetics.com

03.01.2022 Our Xmas schedule

03.01.2022 Just a few words about the torsion adapter. It is a device reducing rotation forces affecting a stump during walking. Does it mean a torsion adapter should be installed in every prosthesis? No, because it makes a prosthesis heavier. This adapter is installed only if a stump is sensitive to rotation forces, or a client has specific activities involving frequent turns. There are several models of the adapter currently available, our favourite one is depicted in the photograph. This particular model can be connected directly to the socket, this allows us to reduce an undesirable so-called hammer effect by shifting the center of mass of the prosthesis as close to the stump as possible.

01.01.2022 Look at this new option! A cosmetic cover made of non-brittle plastic, it is lightweight, yet reliable and can be easily put on and taken off the limb by a prosthesis wearer. It has 500+ print patterns; also, an individual picture (a photo of your lovely dog etc.) can be placed on the cover.
