19.01.2022 QPWC are excited to announce we have joined forces with Prorider Magazine to bring our members an amazing opportunity. For the 2021 season all existing and future members will receive a complementary 12 month digital subscription to ProRider Watercraft Magazine. 18.01.2022 Bjelke-Petersen dam! Our next race will be an epic 2 day event at the picturesque Bjelke-Petersen dam. Saturday and Sunday racing, including closed course, enduro and a surprise wacky event! (To be announced at a later date) A group dinner Saturday night for all riders and crew ... A variety of accommodation available @ Yallakool park, follow the link to on site facility bookings. http://www.yallakoolpark.com.au Entries will open early next week, be sure to get yours in before they close. Payments can be deferred until closer to race date.

17.01.2022 New Trial AJSBA licence AJSBA committee have implemented a one off trial licence for new racers. For brand new riders (never held licence previously) we are now able to offer a temporary licence for $50 for new racers to try racing for 1 event before committing to a full years licence.... If after this 1 trial the racer decides to obtain a full licence this $50 will then be deducted from the full licence cost. All submissions must be made directly to the ajsba through [email protected] for approval. If you are needing anymore information or assistance with new licences please don’t hesitate to contact us. Important race weekend details- Please read! *practice day and race day scheduals- race day starts EARLY- all riders must attend riders briefing! * there will be no fuel at local service station- the nearest fuel will be aprox 30/40ks away- please brig adequate fuel for your needs... *the weather will be cold- please make sure you bring warm gear to wear and to ride in! * a bbq dinner will be provided on Saturday night for those who wish to attend, this is a good opportunity to socialise with our race family- please bring your own chair and drinks.

03.01.2022 Event relocation Due to SunWater needing to implement unscheduled dam maintenance that has reduced water levels less than the minimum required our October Bjelke-Petersen Dam Dash will have to be relocated to Boondooma. To accommodate this change the date will also have to be revised.... Maritime Safety Queensland, SunWater, and South Burnett Council have contacted us to inform the club that maintenance will commence on the dam immediately and projected a less than 8% level at the time our race date was set to take place, this raised great concerns to the safety of all our riders and we are now working closely with these authorities to ensure an alternative date can be settled for this race later this year at the alternative venue QPWC are sorry for an inconvenience this has caused our riders, whilst we are disappointed this race could not go ahead we value the wellbeing of our riders above all else .
