25.01.2022 QSHBA student perfroming at their end of year showcase and, final assessment performances. November 2019. The 2020 Showcase is tonight, 27/11/20 at Waterloo Bay Lesiure Centre, Tingal Rd., Wynnum.

19.01.2022 It is with great sadness and reluctance that I have to announce that our Bayside Carols Committee, is just not able to overcome all the Covo-safe requirements to guarantee that mandatory "Social Distancing" rules will be successfully managed. It is a combination of not being able to receive confirmatory advise as to exactly what the rules will be on that day, pay for the additional cost of fencing and, being able to muster enough volunteers to then administer the Social Dista...ncing requirements. To all who have been working behind the scenes to keep the Bayside Carols alive, I express my sincerest thanks, especially to Julie who has work tirelessly for the last few months to put a plan together that would comply with the Covo-safe requirements. Let us all hope for, and do those necessary thing for, better year in 2021. Onward, Upward and Forward. Let us now devote our full energy to what is still to come this year and, make the best of it.

07.01.2022 Week commencing 16/11/20 All sessions are now in the Band room unless a zoom session is requested With pairing of family members and, re-arranging the furniture, QSB and BYB 1 now fit into the band room whilst still complying with social distancing. Tutorial and beginner sessions are now spread across the week to allow for smaller groups and, for disrupted family timetables due to Corona. MONDAY 1630 - Grade one tutorial session 1700 - RBand 1900 - QSH/LHB (Brass Band) rehearsal TUESDAY 1100 - ASB - Seniors' Recreational Group And anyone really, working on stage7-8 1530 - New beginners 1630 - BYB1 Tuits - Grade 2 and above. 1700 - BYB 1 band rehearsal (Crazy Dress-up day) 1800 - RB WEDNESDAY 1230 - Fund raising/Events/Admin meeting (all Welcome) 1530 - as required 1600 - more advanced new beginners 1630 - new beginners 1715 - BYB 2 band rehearsal (Pink day) THURSDAY 1530 - beginners 1600 - rehearsals with piano player for solo preparation.
