16.01.2022 Words cant describe what it is to get our names, our Darumbal names, to our places that we had for thousands of years... Last year, two local mountains with ...racist connotations, Mount Jim Crow and Mount Wheeler, were reinstated their traditional names. We spoke to local Elders Aunty Sally and Nhaya Nicky about why they fought to have the names changed back.

15.01.2022 There have been tears and cheers of elation as Moreton Island was recognised as a Native Title held by the traditional owners. The Federal Court Judge described it as a day of celebration, acknowledging rights which already existed. www.7NEWS.com.au #7NEWS
