21.01.2022 In this week's episode of The Studio Sessions, our ensemble performs Bizet's jaunty 'Le bal' - galop (The ball) from 'Jeux d'enfants'. Bizet once said that 'Jeux d'enfants' "evokes a facet of childhood, but there is not a trace of triviality, self-consciousness or false sentiment".

18.01.2022 QPAC's cherished Spirit of Christmas concerts are back for 2020! This year, musical theatre stars Amy Lehpamer (School of Rock, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Sound of Music) and Josh Piterman (Phantom of the Opera, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Cats, Hairspray) will headline the concerts and will be joined by a host of special guests including Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dane Lam, and the glorious voices of the QPAC Chamber Choir to Aunty Ruth Ghee who will deliver a First Nations blessing and song. 16.01.2022 Today two of our musicians, violinist Jane Burroughs and cellist Andre Duthoit, worked with Chanel College Strings Ensemble via online tutorials, after meeting the students during their recent trip to Gladstone with QSO’s The Adina String Quartet.
