19.01.2022 Whilst the latest rain event has been terrible for a lot of people, for those of us who live in and around Stanthorpe, it has been a welcome sight. Even though there is a long way to go yet, Storm King Dam is starting to fill up, finally. Hopefully the run off from the surrounding catchment areas will continue for the next few days and we will see a lot more water in the dam. Pic 1: Yesterday's dam level is marked in red. 13.01.2022 What a beautiful sight to see. 48mm in less than an hour plus 11mm overnight last night. There will be some run off from this into Storm King Dam. Fingers crossed there's a lot more to come!

12.01.2022 It looks like we will have some new residents in 3 weeks or so. Masked Lapwings (Plovers) have nested here again this year and we are looking forward to seeing their 3 little chicks soon.
