25.01.2022 WEEKLY GOLF REPORT MENS GOLF Last Saturday was the championship pairs. We had 17 in the field at the start which was reduced to 16 by the finish due to Simmo getting in a fight with a bee. Good thing we had paramedics on stand by and the bee may survive. Winners- combined gross Scott Richards and Peter Wallwork 56 gross points Nett winner- Craig Anderson and Rod Simpson 70 nett points on a count back from Jack Richards and Plumber.... Big week of golf coming this week starting with AIM day Friday 11th. This is a 3 person ambrose mixed event so grab a couple of persons and come along and then the men's championship play off on Saturday. Stu Wilson and Plumber are in the main event and Gecko and Lugs are in the nett playoff so good luck to them. There is normal golf on for those wanting to play just note tee off time will be 11:30am. The day ends with our wind-up and trophy presentation so if you have played any golf at all this year please come along hope to see u all there. LADIES GOLF Windy Wednesday saw 17 players enjoy the walk and a lovely afternoon tea, thanks to the girls who brought along a plate! Monthly mug winner was Barb Bond 34pts, runner up Anne Johnson 33pts. Novelties were shared amongst B. Bond, R. Richards, D.Hayes and Shauna Stone. Congrats to championship winner Sharon Richards, runner up Shauna Stone. We are looking forward to Ag Implements mixed day on Friday and Charity Day next Wednesday so grab yourself a partner or two. Not a lot of our shortened season to go so let’s all get along and enjoy our beautiful course while we can.

18.01.2022 Have you been using our very handy golf cart in the last couple of weeks? Did you happen to forget to pay or have you perhaps put the money in a special place that we can't find? That's ok - you can use our online account to fix up now, pop back to the course and use the tube and receipt book or let us know where you hid it. ... $15 for 18 holes and only $10 for 9. 16.01.2022 Royal Perth Golf Club celebrates the 86th anniversary of their Women's Charity Day tomorrow - 20th October 2020. We're very proud to once again have a large contingent of our lady golfers make the journey to Royal Perth GC and support the beneficiary of this year's event Hannah's House. Hannah's House is a Perth-based not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for children living with live-limiting conditions or complex health needs and their families.

14.01.2022 Twelve of us ventured to Royal Perth Golf Club yesterday for their annual Charity Day. A great time was enjoyed by all. Thanks to RPGC for their wonderful hospitality and thanks to Colette Nalder for the pic of six of the red brigade enjoying the sunshine and great course!

12.01.2022 MENS GOLF REPORT Big weekend in golf last weekend starting with the AIM day Friday. We had 45 players in the field which was good to see. There were many prizes and novelties given throughout the day and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Big thanks to the team at AIM for the sponsorship. Then it was onto Saturday where we had our championship playoffs. Stuwie and Plumber in the championship and Lugs and Gecko in the nett. It was an enthralling battle particularly between ...plumber and stu and it really came down to the wire. Stu shook off some early nerves and with a small crowd watching on came out on top. Well done to all involved. Championship winner- S Wilson 2/1 R/up- K Johnson Nett winner- S Richards 6/5 R/up- G Logan Lugs also took out the eclectic for the men this year as well so well done to all. This weekend is the Scott Johnson Memorial 4 person ambrose. It’s a special day for the Club and always well supported so get a team together and come on down.

08.01.2022 It was fantastic to have REST a While Coffee at golf on Wednesday. Sadly they can’t make it tomorrow, but if you’re after a coffee fix before you tee off, swing by the Golden Grain Cafe and Bakery or Quairading Co-op who both also make great coffee.

03.01.2022 Friday is a good day for a game of golf! It’s not too late to decide to play in the mixed Ag Implements event teeing off from 11.30am this morning.

03.01.2022 What a fantastic Charity Day we have just participated in. (Thank you to REST a While Coffee for giving us the kick start we needed.) Congratulations and well done to all involved. A huge thank you to our sponsors WFI, RSM, Great Southern Fuels and Fuel Distributors. We had 52 in the field enjoying the everlastings display and 36 popped up for lunch. ... Over $3400 was raised, thank you everyone for your generosity, this is split between the Hospital Auxilliary and RFDS.
