23.01.2022 Don't forget to get your children to write their letters to Santa and pop into the Santa's mail box in the postoffice next to the counter. Santa writes individual letters for all the children in Quairading. So please get your letters in before 15th of December to make sure your child receives a reply before Christmas. Also remember to pop their name and address on their letters.

02.01.2022 As some of you know, I like to help SAFE in Northam whenever I can. I have recently had a few kittens dumped on my door step which I've taken to SAFE. If you have kittens or even cats that you do not want, please bring them to me so I can take them to SAFE so they will be desexed and get good homes. Dumping cats can lead to feral cats. It is kitten season at the moment, thankfully kittens get adopted very quickly. So please contact me to collect your kittens or drop them off... to me. No questions asked, no cost. I have been given a cat carrier from SAFE to use specifically for this reason. If you would like to help SAFE Avon Valley you can donate care of NAB SAFE Avon Valley BSB 086 877 ACC number 173549923 I honestly can't express how much of a wonderful job SAFE do for animals in the Avon Valley/Wheatbelt. They do not receive Government funding, so rely on donations. If you do not want to donate cash, they always need good kitten food, cat food, dog food and kitty litter.
