24.01.2022 The children celebrated Melbourne cup day, children got to decorate horses for their artwork as they put down their favorite number. The children had a horse race around the playground which we had 3 kids race each other while the rest of their friends cheer them on.

23.01.2022 Today the children celebrated 'Pirate Day' as they came in to the centre dressed up as pirates with their hat's and eye patch. The children enjoyed doing fun activities today as they got to walk the plank across the sand, make a map, going on a treasure hunt, making pirate hat's and making some yummy fairy bread for their party.

22.01.2022 Today we celebrated Sylvan's 5th birthday which he bought in nugget's and fries for their lunch and a cake to share with everyone. The children all had their party hat's on as they sang happy birthday to Sylvan as he blows out his candle's.

17.01.2022 Children were tasting foods from different countries that the families had brought in. Raahil brought in some Pappadums with a description of the origin and what the different sizes represent, Angelina brought in some punjabi indian food, (pat a cake) (pooras), Edison watermelon, Carter Blueberry & Banana muffins, Aroha sweet snack, Edlyn -Nicky Chins, Shivang - Roti and Lentil Paratha, Biryani from Ira. We were also giving some Aussi Pies and Some Asian dumplings , food was delicious and all the children tried a little piece from every dish. Some of the children had seconds.

16.01.2022 This afternoon the children practice a fire drill, the children all took a hold of the rope once they heard the whistle and then we all walked in a line holding onto the rope as we all head to the evacuation spot which was at the front. The children did a really good job keeping a hold on to the rope.

15.01.2022 Children were making Vegemite, jam and cheese scrolls we are going to have for afternoon tea. We discussed the importance of washing hands and keeping away germs, then we looked at the equipment and ingredients we will need to make the scrolls all the children participated and happily discussed their favorite filling.

12.01.2022 Today the children celebrated Halloween which they came in dressed up in witches, skeleton, pirates, vampires, minion and Emma from the wiggles. Activities the children got to do was a broom race which they raced each other around the playground, children also made finger sandwiches for their party and made spider webs for their artwork. The children had a really fun day as they enjoyed their party food.

12.01.2022 It's Jersey Day at QKC today! The children have participated in a variety of gross motor activities that promoted their physical skills and abilities where their enthusiastic minds engaged in challenging obstacles! This also further strengthened children's social skills as they collaborate, communicate and have fun with peers!

10.01.2022 Today the children celebrated Jiaan's 5th birthday which he bought in a yummy cake to share with everyone, the children all had their party hat's on while we all sang happy birthday to Jiaan.

10.01.2022 Today we celebrated Japjeet's 5th birthday!! He brought in a yummy cake and some chips and cookies for all his friends to share!!

09.01.2022 Today the children celebrated Mukund 5th birthday, which he bought in a cake to share with all his friends. The children had their party hats on as they sing happy birthday to Mukund then he blew out his candles.

08.01.2022 Today we celebrated Aroha 3rd birthday which she bought in a yummy cake to share with everyone, the children had their party hat's on as they sing happy birthday to Aroha.

04.01.2022 Today the children celebrated 'Cupcake Day' which they got to make and decorate their own cupcake's. The children chose to put chocolate and sprinkles on top of their cake. The children also made cupcakes for artwork using chalk to draw on their filling then using the glue to stick the cupcake pan on to their paper.
