24.01.2022 Sadly Kings Langley has an electrical fire last night, all are safe but games scheduled for this week end at their park will be moved, please check later today for any updates. QHJSC has sent their thoughts to Kings Langley members and committee... please offer any assistance to set up/pack up fields if you are one of the host games.

23.01.2022 Registering attendance at Quakers Park and ALL fields is now COMPULSARY for all spectators. Players/Coaches/Managers are on a team sheet so no need. These will be displayed at ALL clubs so please look for these signs and scan the code to register your attendance at the field.

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - please check your kick off times for any updates Due to lights not being made available by Council, we have been forced to make matches at night with two senior teams playing on the same pitch an earlier kick-off. New kick-off times will be 18:15 & 20:30. Please inform your teams as this comes into affect from tonight.

20.01.2022 TRAINING UPDATE THURSDAY NIGHT - If you do not feel well or have any flu like symptoms please stay away until you are better. Anyone that has been contacted by NSW Health (call or text) in regards to any connections to the positive cases need to self isolate (including all family members) as recommendation - do not attend soccer until advised differently. U5-9 Training at Quakers Park - 1 parent per player at training and you must check in on youre sitting along the fence line All other training at Mikhelson - all parents are to stay in the car while training.

19.01.2022 UPDATE - Council Sporting Fields Closure Notice Please note that due to current weather conditions, all Council sporting fields where sporting activities are conducted across Blacktown City will remain closed for all sports until 4pm Friday 14 August An update as to whether the sporting fields will be reopened will be made by Council on Friday 14 August by 12:00 Noon.

04.01.2022 FEMALE FOOTBALL UPDATE FROM BDSFA GM - Adam Fairley NSW Health today released a set of updated FAQs following meetings with the various State Sporting Organisations.... One of the points covered concerns competitions between Associations. The point is as below: It is acknowledged that associations and districts across Greater Sydney and regional NSW may need to maintain their existing arrangements with neighbouring associations or districts to ensure there are enough teams to participate in a competition. As such the Phoenix League is able to proceed as scheduled.

03.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION NSW Health - Public Health Order (Grassroots Sport) Association Football is approved to continue, however, effective from Wednesday, 19 August 2020, attendance at training and games must be restricted to:... * one (1) person per child player * no crowd attendance whatsoever at senior matches and training * BDSFA Registered Coaches & Managers are allowed to attend their teams games and training sessions only * BDSFA Registered Club Officials are allowed to attend any of their own Clubs training sessions and home or away games only * Club assigned Match Day Supervisor Further restrictions include: - Where possible, you must avoid carpools or bus travel to and from games with people from different household groups - Post-Training and Game Day group dinners and gatherings cannot proceed - Award Ceremonies on Grand Final Day and Presentation Days for Clubs cannot proceed - End-of-season social gatherings cannot take place QHJSC ask that our players and families are fully aware of these guidelines and follow to ensure the safety of all.

02.01.2022 Weekend is here!! Round 8 and make up games... Please check your game times and field in case of changes. Please remember the new restrictions that are now in place and from email sent to all members today a quick reminder of the 5 key points: 1. If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms of illness you are not to attend games or training... 2. Players and officials who have visited Victoria are not permitted to play, train or attend matches for 14 days after leaving Victoria, and should be encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 3. Players, officials and spectators who have attended any of the reported case locations listed on the NSW Health website (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates) are not permitted to play, train or attend matches for 14 days, and should be encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 4. Take all reasonable steps to limit people attending junior games to one parent per player 5. Take all reasonable steps to ensure that there are no spectators at senior games. This is of particular concern to the NSW Government with our senior competitions. Our ability for all players to be able to play football this season could be jeapordised by the number of spectators (including players from within your club not playing) who turn up to watch and support your Premier League, All Age, Masters and Youth teams Unfortunately, if we want to keep playing, the focus needs to be on playing the game not watching!
