07.01.2022 Lots of electrons transferring from the iron content of this frame and bottom bracket to oxygen in the air. The iron oxides that form (rust) take up more space than the original material, so removing components in this condition takes extra time and effort, and sometimes some improvising with tools....

Sounds like a line from the Shimano brochure, but in this case its hard to argue...Mechanic Luke assembled this very tidy Lynskey Ti recently with a mechanical 9100 groupset (replacing the existing 7900 components) - and we all agreed it has the best shifting action and brake feel ever. Lucky owner!!
