19.01.2022 Whilst leucaena does have its benefits for feeding cattle, it is important to regularly maintain and trim leucaena plantations to prevent your property and surrounding areas from being overrun by leucaena trees. Leucaena has high germination rates, is an aggressive grower (up to 7+ metres in height) that forms a monoculture, smothers native plants and excludes regrowth. The Raptor has been busy mulching every second row of established leucaena to reduce its density and re...-establish grass cover in between rows. The resulting layer of mulch naturally decomposes, supplements soil structure and helps prevent soil erosion. If you're leucaena is in need of some maintenance, give us a call on 0447 245 353 or send us a message.

Our machines offer a more environmentally friendly approach to land clearing in comparison to traditional methods. Our forestry mulchers are specifically designed for selective clearing and produce a layer of mulch that naturally decomposes and supplements soil structure preventing soil erosion. ...
